COCN1, Commercial Natural Gas, is the core qualification and is normally a pre-requisite to have before attaining other additional commercial qualifications. There are some exceptions to this, but generally most candidates must complete COCN1, or already be in possession of this qualification before adding commercial qualifications.

As you can see COCN1 covers several areas, therefore training takes a number of days to complete, actual time dependant upon whether this is the first time you’ve completed this training or if it is a refresher course to renew qualifications. You must also allow time to undertake and successfully pass the associated COCN1 theory and practical assessments.
