Gas meters range in both size and type, starting at the smaller end with the domestic sized, U6 & E6 meters that we install in a typical house and small commercial premises. Gas meters then increase in size, up through the range of diaphragm meters, U16 up to perhaps U100, then through the range of rotary displacement and impellor gas meters. TGT Ltd provides training and assessment for all of the above gas meter types, including limited scope instrumentation. Gas meters are mostly owned and operated by Meter Asset Management organisations, (MAMs), who in turn employ qualified Engineers to install, exchange and remove their meters.
