Committed to promoting gas engineers as highly qualified professionals, we offer a wide range of gas and related non-gas training courses and associated ACS assessments.
These include initial core assessment, core re-assessment, appliance assessments and a range of changeover assessments including natural gas to liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and Commercial Gas installations.
Training is not a pre-requisite of asssessment.
We are pleased to announce a new Electro Fusion Welding course for those engineers who wish to extend their existing portfolio to encompass the installation of MDPE.
This training module is an ideal addition for an engineer undertaking a meter assessment, but is not a pre-requisite.
We have suspended our "Managed Learning Program" designed for new entrants to the Gas Industry.
An engineer does not have to undertake any training before he/she undertake their ACS certification. However, although they are very welcome to opt for ‘assessment only’, Technical Gas Training recommend the appropriate training course. This provides preparation for assessment or re-assessment, includes statutory legislation, and in the case of re-assessment any new legislation that may have been introduced during the last five years and escaped recognition.
